The pain was getting stronger now. Steve could feel it spreading from his aching heart, to
the rest of his body. Every time his heart beat, he could feel the warm rush of tingles flow
through-out his body. Tammy sat across from him though she hadn't a clue. The passion he felt
for her was uncompromising. Everything he longed to be or wanted out of life was incarnate
infront of him. How could one single organism be so beautiful. Even though the human race
was a horrid and putrid thing, she somehow managed to give the world hope. Well, Steve's
world anyway.
The smell from the cafeteria burned through his nose and sent a twitch of displeasure to
his brain. One of the cooks(?) Had burned some toast again. He pulled his face up from his cold
fires to watch the dissatisfied costoumers walk out. Their facial expression said it all. What else
were they to do? When painted in a corner, you'd probably try to fly. One incomprehendable
word from Tammy pulled Steve's attention back to her. People rushed in and out, smelling of
smoke, leather, burned toast, and whatever else a teenager can get it's hands on. I use the word It
because that's what they are. That's what everyone is. We are all just It's. In fact, I don't even
think we deserve CapiToL LeTTers in our Names, but, oh well. Say la vee. I know, I know.
Tammy's beautiful blonde hair reflected the buzzing lights above, and made the room
seem alittlele brighter. She smiled at Steve before getting up to go have a smoke. Smoking is
bad for you. I know, and she knows too. But, again, that's just what teenagers do, don't they?
The way her body moved sent shivers up Steve's spine. He didn't know how much longer he
could take this abuse. And that's what it was too. She was menttally, physically, and socially
abusing him....only....she didn't know it. Yeah, that's it. Steve finished off his cold stinky fries,
and followed her, (not too closely) out to have a cigarette.
The large, heavy metal doors in the front of the school squeeked as they opened under
Steves little pressure. He barely caght a glimpse of her walking around the corner. The cold air
hit Steve's face like a truck, and caused him to drop his cigarette. As he bent down to pick it up,
he began to feel dizzy. He was dead. Not emotionally, or something profound like that. He was
just dead. He had died. Some people nowadays say it was because he felt so damn bad about
Tammy falling for anther guy. Others say it was because of the stored guilt that lay within the
pit of his burning black heart. A guilt which hung on his shoulders like an al;batross. Guilt from
the thoughts of what would've happned if her were allowed to live. Killing Tammy seemed the
only reasonable way of dealoing with his problem. Pain and moisery followed him like a cookie
to an oven. I don't know which is worse: getting stuck in traffic, or playing the part of a fool. I
guess it depends on who you are.
The police came to the school, and Steve watch himself being taken into the abulance
before laughing out loud to himself. No one heard him. But of course, nobody was there. No
one was every there, Until he was truly stisfied, no one would ever care either. He had to kill
her. For you see, it was really night out, and he HAD killed Tammy. The police sirens echoed in
the cool September night sky, and made him clinch his fists in rage. He wanted to kill them all.
They flopped along the roads like jellyfish trying to dance. All of them were about to be born
again. He crushed them with his two fingers, and watched the puss ooze from their heads, as he
cried out in pain. Not pain for them, but pain for himself. The pain Tammy must've been
through when he broke everyone of her limbs, and proceeded to beat her fucking face in, until
she had finally died. Of course it wasn't over for Steve, or for Tammy. Tammy say infront of
him eating her cold sandwich and talking to her boyfriend about dying. Mark was his name, and
he didn;t like Steve too much at all. Of course, how could anyone like a statue made of clay?
